Serving the San Francisco Bay Area community since 1889, the Alliance Française de San Francisco is the oldest Alliance Française chapter in the US. Our mission is to promote the knowledge and appreciation of the French language and francophone cultures.

CLASSES for ADULTS
Join our onsite or online classes!
Students in our regular classes and exam prep classes can benefit from our dedicated online exercise platform design to help
them learn efficiently.
Onsite classes now available in 4 locations including Sausalito!
We also offer conversation classes, specific topic classes, corporate classes and private classes.

KIDS AND TEENS
For Kids: We offer summer camps, onsite classes, and online classes.
For Teens: Join our online afterschool classes, or get ready to ace your AP French with our dedicated preparation.
EXAM CENTER
We are the official Exam center for DELF/ DALF, TCF and DFP for Northern California.
We also offer exam preparation and certifications for teachers.
Museum & Library
Visit the New Musee d'Histoire de la Communauté Francophone. Free entrance, reservation required.
We also have a large collection of books and DVDs as well as an online library.
CULTURAL CENTER & events
Join our dynamic community for our regular events such as Movie Nights, Language Exchange or Cafe Conversation or register for our wide variety of events for Francophones and francophiles: concerts, art openings, theater plays, ...
