Morning Program: Language & Creative Exploration
Mornings are dedicated to immersive French language activities designed for children who already speak the language:
- French Creative Writing & Storytelling -- Campers strengthen their written and oral expression through guided storytelling, poetry, and creative writing exercises. Younger campers will work on drawing letters, writing words and have a storytelling time.
- Francophone Culture & Discussion -- Interactive group discussions and games explore Francophone cultures, traditions, and stories from around the world.
- French Language Games -- Engaging activities designed to build vocabulary, fluency, and confidence in a playful setting.
🎨 Afternoon Program: Art, Culture & Music
1:00 -- 2:35 PM -- "Un Jour, Un Artiste" (One Day, One Artist) with the Francophone Museum
Each afternoon, children discover a famous Francophone artist and create their own masterpiece inspired by that artist's style!
- Part 1: Learning about the artist -- their life, their world, and their artistic vision.
- Part 2: Hands-on creative project -- children create original artwork inspired by the artist!
2:35 PM -- Snack & Break
🎶 3:00 PM -- French Song & Dance Activity
Children end the day on a high note, singing French songs and exploring rhythm through interactive music and movement games!
Meals & Snacks
Parents are responsible for providing lunch and an afternoon snack for their child each day. The Alliance Française will provide a morning
snack to all campers.

📝 Mornings are our academic time, designed to help campers combat summer learning loss and prepare for the next school year. The structured morning sessions include:
- Math & English Review – Campers revisit key material from the previous school year to reinforce skills and strengthen their foundation for the year ahead.
- French Class – Through writing, speaking, listening, and educational games, campers will develop their French language skills in an engaging and supportive environment.
After lunch, afternoons are a time for more fun yet enriching activities – a chance to relax, explore, and have fun with new friends!

🎥 1:00 PM – Short Francophone Film & Discussion (30 min max)
Campers will watch and discuss a short film in French, helping them develop listening comprehension and cultural
awareness.
