Grammar : First contact with French grammar, the subjects (I, you...), ask a question and answer a question.

Vocabulary : The greetings, the class objects, the alphabet, the numbers until 100 and the days of the week.


Unit 2 : Entrez en contact (first contact)

Grammar : The three forms of « the », some key verbs (to be, to have, to live, to speak), the possessives (my, your...)

Vocabulary : The nationalities, the countries, the greetings (2), the numbers until 1 million, the months and the seasons.

You will learn how to : 
* Talk about habits / everyday life
* Express your preferences
* Describe your country/ city

Grammar : The “on”, relative pronouns qui / que / où, the plural and gender of the words, comparing things, the most / the least, the pronouns COI.
Vocabulary : The city, the shops and businesses, the housing, the taste, geography, cooking and slangs.

Envisagez l’avenir (think about the future)
Grammar : The conditionnel present, the imperative, to have to do something, devoir / pouvoir, si + present, the verbs souhaiter / espérer / si + present / future. Vocabulary : Being polite, the housing, the chores, the actions, the work, the firm, the projects, the pricing.

8-week Conversation Class

Parler, parler et encore parler! Ce cours se concentre sur l’expression et la compréhension orale. A travers ce cours, votre professeur compétent vous éclairera sur des points importants de conversations et d’interactions francophones. Vous serez confrontés à divers sujets d’actualités en français qui vont vous amener à discuter, débattre, argumenter et, nous l’espérons, rigoler!

Semaine 1 et 2 : La presse et les médias 
Semaine 3 et 4 : La langue française, une langue en évolution 
Semaine 5 et 6 : L’artisanat et le “fait maison”
Semaine 7 et 8 : L’humour français

De quoi aurais-je besoin ? Le matériel pédagogique sera entièrement fourni par le professeur, aucun livre n’est nécessaire.

Note: les cycles de conversation n'ont pas besoin d'être suivis dans l'ordre. Vous pouvez commencer par n'importe quel cycle qui corresponde a votre niveau. 

Si vous ne pouvez pas assister au cours pour une raison quelconque, nous proposons regulierement le cours deux fois pendant la même session avec une version en ligne et/ou en présentiel avec le même programme à un autre horaire, vous pouvez la rejoindre facilement.

This fun class aims to help students acquire elementary knowledge about the French language and create a functioning vocabulary.
Have you acquired some basics in French, but can’t seem to figure out how to actually speak? This course is for you! *This course focuses on YOU talking as much as possible. You will be discussing with your classmates, your teachers and overcome your difficulties !

The teacher will help you facilitate your speech, with pronunciation and grammar corrections when needed.

This 8 hours course will cover: 

Week 1 and 2 : Talk about yourself and your family. Describe who you are and who are the close persons in your life

Week 3 and 4 : Discuss your daily activities and your routine, ask / tell the time, work around numbers 

Week 5 and 6 : Talk about your favorite sports and hobbies! Share what you like to do  when you have free time

Week 7 and 8 : Transportations and how to go around your city and your country. 

Each conversation topic goes with necessary grammar material that corresponds to the A1 level requirements.
