Synopsis: 1947. On a beach, Madeleine, a waitress at a hotel-restaurant and mother to a young boy, meets François, a
wealthy and cultured student. Between them, it feels like fate something meant to be. While we know what Madeleine wants to leave behind by
following this young man, we gradually discover what François is trying to escape by intertwining Madeleine’s destiny with his own...
